O Glorious Beauty

Take a look around you,
All that stands and all that falls,
Have you wondered if you knew,
Why some are so awesomly tall?

See the beauty that rises amongst us,
That which are green in the morning light,
Let this be knowledge to thirst,
To know what is right.

Trees that stand mighty in the ground,
Rivers that are ardent in their flow,
Have their beauty not been found?
There resting in the orange glow.

Look at the sunrise before dawn,
The sunset just before dusk,
That glorious moment before that awaking yawn,
That beauty have you not asked?

So take the time and observe,
The natural beauty around you,
For it is not only found in reserves,
But also in the heart,
If only you knew.

Each In Its Seasons

It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish... All before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners...
God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!
A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... And YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the res earch shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.
Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.
A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents c ervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries
Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

Isaiah- Lesson 1

NOTE: There is no Discussion today as it is the first lesson, nor will there be any Discovery.
Bible Lesson
Isaiah was a representative of God just like a Prime Minister has representative. He gave himself into God's service with the memorable words, "Lord, here am I; send me." Isaiah was known as a prophet and prophets were known as the mouthpiece of God.
Principle 1: God calls individuals to speak for Him.
God has had many messages to various groups of people throughout the centuries. God uses individuals to deliver His messages, both human and angelic, but His messages always reach those whom He has sent it to. As we will later learn, 'God's Word will not return void.'
Principle 2: God's message is for individuals and nations.
God's message in the book of Isaiah is one of repentance and, later, one of redemption. All of God's messages requires a response from its listeners. As an illustration, if you hear of a disaster coming and you do not do anything, it is like reading the Bible and not responding.
Principle 3: God's message in the Bible requires a response.
Ending Prayer: God, I thank You for the opportunity to learn Your Word and Your Message to me. I thank You that Your Word is as reliable as Yourself and that it is indeed profitable to study Your Words so I can come to know You. I wish to state my commitment to learn Your Word now. Help me to know that You are speaking to me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

God's Attributes

Which of God's attributes can you see from the following hymn?
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.
Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

We can observe that the hymn praises God as holy, almighty, glorious, merciful, perfect, powerful, loving, pure, in the Trinity, and unequal, i.e. above everything else.
What are attributes?
Attributes are characteristics of someone. WordWeb defines the word as "a construct whereby objects or individuals can be distinguished," and "an abstraction belonging to or characteristic of an entity."
Why do you need to know the attributes of God?
Some of the answers you'ld come across would be somewhere in the path of "to love Him, to be like Him and to know Him." Possibly even "to make Him known." The answers differ from person to person. Ask yourself this question and meditate on an attribute of God that has been shown in your life in the past week.
What would you want to know about Him? What questions would you ask?
It is customary to ask questions of a new friend or acquaintance. What would you want to know about God? If you were to meet Him today and sat down for a cup of coffee, what would you ask Him? His Name(s)? His address? Perhaps His origin? Hobbies? Likes? Favourite foods? Think of several (reasonable) questions about God that you would like to ask.
NOTE: We shall learn the first of God's attributes during the next lesson.

A Life Full Of Gifts

One beautiful day,A man was having a beauty sleep8).He had a dream,

he dreamt he went to a beautiful place God prepared for us called Heaven.:o

He entered the Heaven and went inside a special room called ; treasure room.

He asked The Lord:What is this place?

The Lord Answered: The gifts i gave every human on earth.

He asked again: Where are my gifts?

The angels brings him to a room, full of gifts!!!!

He asked The Lord with a Big Question Mark on his head: I did not recieved so much gifts from you..

The Lord replied: Your gifts are already with you,you just have to open and recieve them my son.:)

The Lord gave us blessings even before we were born!

All you have to do is recieve them!

Luke 6:21-22

The Lord our God says,

Blessed are you who hunger now,

for you will be satisfied.

Blessed are you who weep now,

for you will laugh.

Blessed are you when people hate you,

when they exclude you and insult you

and reject your name as evil,

because of the Son of Man.

God said "Blessed"(past tense)

Proves God gave us blessing all along,

Have you recieved them? or How to recieve them?

The are several ways to opening the windows of heaven to receive abundant blessings from God. We must (1) keep God's commandments, (2) be a profitable servant, (3) be a cheerful giver, and (4) walk by faith. These keys are not the only keys. Other scriptures show additional ways that we can please God. Through a diligent study of of the Bible, we can learn more perfectly how to please God, live an abundant life, and receive blessings from God.:)

A Day, A Present

From the east the sun rises,
And unto the west it does set,
Filled with hours of surprises,
How many have you met?

A present we recieve each day,
Be grateful you're still here,
Let all sorrow be kept at bay,
As well as the problems and fears.

Time exists in three,
The past, present and the future,
So leave the past and the future free,
But live the present to be richer.

There's a reason for everything,
The moment we live now is the present,
For it is a gift to be made anything,
Therefore let this be a lesson.

Isaiah-Introduction

Isaiah is one of the most interesting books of the Bible. It has one of the first prophetic mentions of Jesus and His birth, yet not many people takes the trouble to read Isaiah as it is one of the longest books in the Bible and not as evangelical as a gospel nor as easy to read as a psalm. Therefore, this study is brought to you using Bible Study Fellowship syllabus as an indepth exploration of a major prophet.

This study will be persued in a number of parts. Firstly, there will be a Discussion of the previous week's questions, which will be given to you at the end. After that, a Discovery will take place where we will usually learn homilectics, which is a process preachers use to prepare their sermons. Then, a Bible Lesson will be given with 2 to 4 Principles each, which will give the main points of the passage. Finally, we will end with one Basic Truth (of the Bible) and one Attribute of God, before giving you the next week's Discussion Questions.

I hope that you will take the time to learn the rarely touched corners of God's Word together with me.

Apologetic Ramblings of a Disconnect Mind-Part 1

I watch as time slip away from between my fingers and cascade to the floor below. I hold what is left of the hourglass, cutting my palms into shreds on the shards, while I try to grab the grains of time back. The radio in the corner gives out bursts of static and fragments of a Chopin waltz, while the old antenaed television in front airs an old black and white Nineties version of Dracula fliting through the streets of London in the guise of a big black bat just like the time flits now from the floor into a flock of flamingoes out the open window into the hot, busy bustle of nothingness.

The door swings open and a man stands full in it, hardly fitting in. He grunts as he forces his way past the doorframe and squeezes into an armchair across the table from me, blocking out the tele with his humongous frame. He nearly overturns the table while doing that and upsets a little of the black, bitter, lukewarm tea in front of me. I stare disconsertedly at the cup of indifferent tea: I hadn't noticed that.

At the same time, a woman climbs in from the window silently, not even noticed until she sits on a whoopee cushion in a dark corner. She smiles gently and removes the whoopee cushion before sitting down again. The three of us make a freak show, I am sure. I, in a three-piece suit and tie, attempting to watch Dracula through the man...
