Japan's Earthquake Disaster

On the 10th of March, 2011, we stand, shocked and awed by what has happened and is still happening in Japan. A 8.9 magnitude earthquake, said to be the worst earthquake Japan has ever received thus far. Tsunami alerts went out and is said to be going in across 150km from the epicenter.

The news so far:

The waves went rampaging through the streets of Japan. Cars, ships and trains were swept away. A bullet train was swept away by the waves, without knowing how many people it was containing in there. Japan is in much distress right now and we hope that many will be able to do sometihng about, even play a little part in it.

Buildings went down, shook and broken. 6 million are now without power for the nuclear power plants are not able to function. We do not know and we cannot estimate how long this will continue, but let us do our part and pray for Japan and giving them the moral support they need to stay strong. It is often in times like these where we get to come together and reach out to others, comfort them and be there with them, letting them know that they are not alone in these times, but we stand together, not as a nation, not as a continent, but as the whole world, the whole human race, united and sharing their heartaches, their pain and their greivances.

So let us play our part and start praying for Japan!
